"With your vote, I'll run the bull Out of Frankfort"

To The Seniors

I know that many of our senior citizens are struggling to make ends meet. Some must choose between buying food or medicine. Some must live only on their Social Security checks. I will do whatever I can to reduce the cost of living so that they can buy more with their limited income. I will ask that a commission be established to recommend changes that we can make that will reduce the cost of living in Kentucky. The cost of living can be reduced by reducing the cost imposed on us by government taxation, regulation, and lawsuits and by reducing the cost of health care and workers compensation insurance.

I believe that we have too many elderly people who sit at home with no way to meet other people. I want to start a 50-and-over club to help them. This program will be set up so that they can meet and talk with younger people and other people their age. Meetings can be held in abandoned schools across the state and should be at least three times per week. We have too many lonely people in our state and I hope to change that. I'm asking churches to join me in this program. Also, during my last campaign, I did a TV show with the AARP. I am asking them to join me in this program, too.
