Local Government
To every mayor, county judge-executive, and every magistrate in the state of Kentucky: I want you to send me a letter to tell me who you are and what county you are in. I want to know what kind of problems that you have in your community. Every county in the state needs to be viewed as a complete piece of machinery. Every part down to the last screw must be properly attended to in order for it to function to its fullest capacity. Neglecting one area so another can prosper can slowly lead to the the demise of our counties, our state and our government. Without the much needed change it can only get worse.
I would like to get the prisoiners out of jail to hlep clean up the cities, to do some painting if necessary and to help clean up the creeks and streams throughout the state. I'm here and my address will be here. If you want to talk to me, just call, but leave your phone number so I can call you back.
On October 23, 2006, I went to the City Hall in Hazard, Kentucky. Clay Pipeline out of Manchester, Kentucky, had just laid down a major city water project. They stopped short of a school by 700 feet. I went to the meeting and asked that the pipeline be put 700 feet to the school, a gas station and several more buildings, and that a fire hydrant be put on the school property. Two weeks ago, the job was complete. Everything I have asked for, I have got. This is just one small project in Kentucky that I had a hand in. If anyone in Kentucky knows of a project like this, send me a lettter or call me. I have got to know what is going on.
I want every county in the state of kentucky to have a five-acre demolition landfill. People can bring up there and dump old houses being torn down. This would save the counties thousands of dollars every year in garbage. This will stop people from dumping in our creeks and rivers. It will be free of charge to anyone who wants to get rid of their garbage.
