"With your vote, I'll run the bull Out of Frankfort"

Hi, I'm Otis "Bullman" Hensley. I've lived in Wallins, Harlan County Kentucky, all my life. I have a wife of nearly 29 years, Sidney Mae Hensley, and two sons, Duane, age 24, a heavy equipment operator who is married with two children, Megan and Nathan, and Travis Hensley, age 23, who is married with a baby on the way. My father is the Rev. Otis Hensley, Sr. My mother, Rochella, died of cancer three years ago.

I'm a contractor for the state highway department and I mostly work out of Jackson, Kentucky. I also work for the Corps of Engineers from time to time. During the last 10 years, I have worked in over 40 counties throughout Kentucky, from Monticello to Frankfort, to Lexington, to Morehead, Grassy Creek, Jackson, Breathitt County, Booneville, Beattyville, Hazard, and all points in-between. I've been in and around many counties and I know a lot about those counties. On Sundays, Mae and I will pick out a county and travel to that county and look it over. We have been doing this for many years. Some Sundays we drive as far as 300 miles to look at one certain county.

I'd like to thank everyone who voted for me in the 2003 Kentucky Democrat primary. I was very proud of how many votes that I got – 9,372. I only expected two, and I had to take my wife out to lunch to get the second. During that primary, I did television shows all over Kentucky, including question and answer shows for WYMT and two major debates on KET. I traveled through half of the state and I gave at least 25 to 30 speeches. Still, giving speeches scares me to death.

I want to personally thank the mayor and the police and fire departments in Anchorage, Kentucky. That's where I rode Franko the Bull for the first time. I look forward to going back and riding the bull again.

I think that Kentucky needs new leadership. They need a leader with new ideas that will sit and listen to what you have to say, and a man to take action. I do believe I'm the man who can handle the job. I want to make Kentucky the greatest state in the country because, after 8 years of serving as Governor of the great Commonwealth of Kentucky, I plan to run for President of the United States in 2016. I plan to ride the bull to the White House in Washington D.C.

I'm not running for governor as a politician, but as a concerned citizen of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

I am the only democrat candidate for governor that says NO to expanded gambling. I am asking all churches for a donation of $100 and all Christians to donate $15 to $25 if they can afford it to help me keep gambling out of Kentucky. Send to P.O. Box 789, Wallins Creek, KY 40873
